My favourite memory of Ricky is the gig in Londonderry. I remember they were staying at the same hotel as me and my family. walked in and sat down for a drink and over in the corner was Ricky . He was sitting having a cup of tea and when he got up to leave he walked past me and my family and gave us a smile . That will always be my favourite memory of Ricky the best day of my life. My favourite song that Ricky did was whatever you want I loved him singing it live . i loved the intro to whatever you want best one of the best intros ricky did.

Hi All, rocking2017 My favourite Quo track has always been Rain from my favourite album BFY penned by the man himself, if I had to pick another it would have to be Mystery Song from the same album two iconic tracks that are sung by Rick.....

In the early eighties I was a member of the Dutch Status Quo fanclub. I was slightly embarrassed by 'Dear John' and 'Ol Rag Blues' as even at that tender age I knew thy were better than that. At a fanclub gathering I saw footage of Quo '74, (NO SOUND, just the boys performing in red floodlights.) Rick was awesome. They all were. I became a lifelong fan.
