Just listened to Radio 2 tribute to Rick Parfitt OBE. It was an old interview with Johnny Walker just before they did the first Frantic Four tour. JC & AL were there along with FR & Rick..very funny interview..listening to Rick still makes my eyes water. Worth a listen BBC iPlayer

Thanks, I will try to listen to that tomorrow. Just listening to the GTFM programme at the moment. Some old interview clips but still good to hear again and some bits I haven't heard before.

Lets be honest though any "proper" tribute would have to have interviews with Francis, Alan, John, Andy, Rhino etc. None of them will be up to giving such interviews at the moment. I mean Brian May and Roger Taylor never really gave any proper interview tributes about Freddie for a few months. It was too raw for them and also they knew that Freddie was dying so had some time to prepare themselves.

But why just re - run an interview from 2012 and call it a tribute to Rick ?

(Roger didn't think much of him). Still I suppose at the time some were saying how Freddie "Deserved it" due to his promiscurity. Which is just wrong and out of order, no doubt there are people saying "All Rick's fault too many drugs". Though with things like that the numbers seem to be fewer. They are all wrong IMO to say something bad like this is out of order no matter how a person died.
