All the other songs in that review were big hits then. I have never heard of any of them apart from Madge's song which he dismisses as well. It was a big hit and the vid is still shown on Music channels to this day. The others nope.

Just when I felt that Going DownTown Tonight was the absolute low mark in Quos entire career this thing was released😱😝😖 Still by far the worst Quo-song ever IMO, especially those horrible "saxophone-pretending" synthezisers.... Have you forgotten the Landmark that is "Tommy"? Or that whats its name.... Löneli Nigget?? Believe it or not Whoppa, but if I have to choose between one of them (a bit like choosing between plague and cholera) I think I´d vote for Tommy. That one is intended to be a cheesy country song (which it also is), but I guess Quo (read: Rossi) thought/felt that they recorded a rocking song with Dreamin´. Exactly as many other Rossi/Frost compositions it is NOT rocking, it´s rather a bad version of swedish "dansbandsmusik". IMO songs like Dreamin´ was far worse for Quos reputation as a rockband than Tommy was - even the hardest band can put in some cheesy song here and there, but when the supposed "rockers" also has become cheesy, then the band really is out on thin ice.... Horrible, cringworthy and utter horrible.... And Lonely Night? I love it!

Wish it had sounded a little more like 1974. It is quite far from Backwater and Slow Train.

Quo should've called quits in '76.
