I'm not discussing recorded output but would a gigging public really find the idea of a touring Parfitt, Lancaster & Coghlan band appealing?
Obviously within the Quo camp and especially the FF fans there'd be much enthusiasm (with records too) but the general public who like the greatest hits package?
I doubt the twirly finger cardigan brigade would buy it. They probably wouldn't even know the names - Parfitt at a push.

I totally agree, it would be a very niche audience like JC's Quo, great for the true fan but not really financially viable and sadly unlikely to happen considering the health of Rick and Alan. If Rick does manage to do a solo album some writing input and playing from Alan and John would be great though.

The only way I could see it working would be as a one off gig, probably with a well known guitarist guesting in place of Francis - Slash, maybe?!

What kind of venue do we imagine PLC would fill?
Are we talking your average Civic Hall - 2,000 or so?
Or would it be smaller, like your O2 Academy size?

By the way...talking of The Party Boys, I'll be cruising on Sydney Harbour tomorrow night watching Kevin Borich, my favourite live guitarist, rockin the night away!! Yeehaaa. Hes a good mate with Alan Lancaster so if I get the chance I'll interigate him..;-)
