We had a few postings about Suzi Quatro and her new supergroup QSP recently, they're presently touring Australia and selling out venues where ever they go and the QSP debut cd is in the Australian charts, here's a couple of songs from the gig at Sydney Opera House, the sound isn't too good but still enjoyable.
And of course one of Suzi and her touring band tearing the roof off the place.
To me these videos answer some of the people on the board who keep harping on and on that Quo should call it a day after Rick's untimely passing, to all those people who want the band packed off to some rockers' twilight home, the reason Quo and any old rockers keep going out on the road and gigging is simple - we f*****g love it!

Some people have been asking what a Rossi-less Quo would be like and it got me thinking back to ELO Part II, a Jeff Lynne-less version of what had been the final touring version and the results weren't half bad, including the new original material.

Hmm. I like that first album and I saw them numerous times, the best being 1987 at the Edinburgh Playhouse with the Moscow Symphony Orchestra. (Land of Hope and Glory didn't go down too well). Hearing the Eldorado Concerto played live with the Orchestra made the hairs on the back of my neck stand up. It wasn't ELO though. It was great, and the musicians of that lineup were fantastic - Pete Haycock, Eric Troyer, Bev Bevan, Neil Lockwood, Kelly Groucutt, and the original ELO string section, plus Louis Clark. Better than seeing Jeff? No, but where they did stand out was they felt like a proper band, rather than just Jeff. As you know though, I can't see it as Status Quo without Rick, never mind Francis.
