As it's the 33rd anniversary of Milton Keynes '84, today, I thought I'd play the 2 videos, yes videos of the event.

I know QuoLlectors version will be there but I can't comment on that as I only found out about it recently. He's just using the Proshot and Bootleg footage DVD and remastered that by the looks of it... which you can't do much with UNLESS you got the tapes from the guy or gal that filmed it in the crowd... then you'd actually be able to clean it up.

Dude, I am absolutely frothing like bottled bass to see your remastered project. I know I'll buy Quollector's DVD at the convention, but it won't be as good as this.

Once I've finished faffing, I'll give it a TV test to see how good it looks... cause no matter what it won't be the best on big TV's because VHS resolution is 333 x 480 pixels and up scaling it to 1080 wont do too good on it haha unless i went in frame by frame and upscaled them which would take forever to put them all back in place :/ sadly. I'm trying my best though! or if someone has a VHS recorder that upscales them to 1080, then it'd be a lot better quality Also I have to say that being in a sea of people with the orange Quo lights beaming on you and the spotlights roaming, must've been something else. Whoever had the idea of the stage design is brilliant

Just listen to the combination of Ricks, Francis', Andys and Alans vocals during the chorus! That's what Quo have been missing for so long... Still find it ridiculous they didn't use a shot of the Quo lights coming on during Bye Bye Johnny... and instead shown pointless shots of Rossi talking to Kircher.
Taken from Dave Ling website... Published 2002 Indeed, Rossi is the only band member to have approached the farewell tour with anything approaching a positive mindset. While Parfitt admits "the vibe had gone" and that "nobody could look each other in the eye anymore", he hated playing each number for the last time at Milton Keynes Bowl. Francis, by contrast, claims to have felt "fine" knowing that he would be professionally unattached following the show’s conclusion. "We all went home by helicopter afterwards and I was gutted," comments Rick sadly, "but I never thought in my heart of hearts that it was all over."
