Easiest answers in the world.
Don't listen to it then. It's that simple.

But we have to listen because we care. We want it to be good and we want to like it but ufortunately it's not and I don't.

I put myself through listening to it yesterday, painful. But at least i listened to it on youtube and didn't buy the cd, that would be more painful, think i would've ended up skimming it out of the car window if i had.

I only heard That's a fact partly and a few seconds of hold you back and that was enough for me to not ever wanna hear it again. Looking at it purely for myself, I indeed haven't put myself through anymore pain from it and reading enough comments about it from long time ff fans tell me more then enough about what I need to know. And I certainly am not gonna make myself more upset about it then I am enough already... I do understand though why others do listen to it, it's exactly as vivfromcov says, we do care and we want them to sound good... but for me all that remains is to play that part of their output which I loved, love and always will love. That music doesn't suddenly become worse just cos they changed and if Rossi really doesn't want me or any of other ff fans to hang on to it, then that's too damn bad for him, he recorded it and if he wanted to prevent anyone from listening to it then he shouldn't have recorded it. But what's going on inside the band right now is as far removed from the Status Quo I know and love as day and night are, as a matter of fact it has nothing to do with status quo at all anymore for me.

I agree, i've never felt so much that Status Quo is finally, dare i say it, "over and done" as i do now. I think Rick now being out of the equation has sealed it for me as much as this terrible latest album. Even if Rick got well enough to come back, and i wouldn't blame him at all if he didn't, i think he's better off watching this ship sink from a distance, i dont think it would get better.

It's shite.End of.I can't even bare to put it next to the other Quo albums in my collection.I've hid it under old photos and lots of other stuff in a drawer. It' will never see the light for as long as I live.
