Got the 1993 album 'Sweet A' which features only Andy Scott left in the line up & has 'Am I Ever Gonna See Your Face Again' on the album.

Hey that's not too shabby, rock. As I said above I'd like to have seen Sweet live. Back then I sort of dismissed them as a poppy girls sorta band but I reckon they'd be great in a pub or club. I must've seen The Angels a hundred times from '76 to about '82....geez they were awesome at their peak.

The only downer was the support band. The Ballroom Blitz The Six Teens Restless No You Don't Fox on the Run Burn on the Flame The Man with the Golden Arm Action Set Me Free AC/DC Hell Raiser Sweet F.A.

Seen the Angels many times too, from early 90's til' Doc Neeson passed, R.I.P. Still got a 'Redback Fever' belt buckle that Doc gave me once after a show at the Playroom, Gold Coast. Doc was one hell of a front man of ROCK, sadly missed.

Hi All, Well that takes me back unfortunately at the time of the Sweet although I liked their music it reminds me of being bullied as one in particular was a sweet fan and I let him nick my girlfriend sadly after going from primary to comprehensive just never realised that bullies can be beaten literally even if they have bigger brothers...
Anyway excellent sounds I always liked Action and really liked the Def Leppard's cover, but just thinking and looking at some vid's on youtube they were at the forefront of Glam rock/Rock and deserved more success than they have had. Just a shame that he basically lost the respect of the other original line up through some lets just say bad habits in and left in 78. then passing away in '97'.
Ever since the various Sweet members and bands have tarnished that successful early history (Now where have I heard that last bit before ? ) sadly and one video below shows some of that as ever though you make your own mind up... Also loved blitz... Not how history should remember them Geoff.

Hi All, There is a Ballroom Blitz cover that I loved by a Japanese metal band years ago but I just cannot find it on youtube. While scouring the vid's I did come across the videos below, I think it is ok but I doubt anybody else will as it will make them think of AQ2....
Different.... letsrock Bes taxi driver in the world... Geoff.

Thanks, Geoff. That one from Def Leppard was a beauty. Geez scrolling down through the next lot of videos certinly sobers things up. Andy certainly looks like he's been grazing in a good paddock over the years, then the last one with the last original member sitting is rather sad. Hope Quo has the decency to stop before something like that happens. Cheers, Geoff.
