OK, most of the songs are rubish, we all know that fact, but some of them are ok. For me listenable tracks are:
- Resurrection - Rocker's Rollin' - Backwater - Is Someone Rocking Your Heart?

Just listened to the album on Spotify I can only comment on the first 14 songs, not heard the extras. Yeah, resurrection is quite nicely done. Not the best vocals ever from Rick, but quite good overall, some good lead guitar that does not sound like Francis. Does Francis appear on this song, I wonder? It's the only one without any nonsense on it. After two listens though, I can't see myself particularly wanting to listen to this again Mess of blues is enjoyable until the accordion kicks in, then it's terrible...really, really terrible (sorry!). A decent solo can't save it LOTHR is nice until the backing vocals and percussion ruin it I could only listen to a few seconds of ROLD. The new songs, imo, are dreadful Dear John deserves credit for creativity. I think it nearly works. I don't like the strings or backing vocals, but I can understand why some would like it. The tempo changes don't really work imo. An interesting listen, but I wouldn't want to listen again The single (that's a fact) sounds better produced than the others and feels like more time and effort was spent on it. I don't like the strings and backing vocals but still think this is still a good song like this. Not really my thing, but I can hear that it's good. YHB starts quite well with a folksy, celtic jig. But the verse (complete with french accordion) doesn't sound like it fits. And anyway, HYB with an accordion? No thanks, not for me. The guitars are crisp, clear and enjoyable on Belavista Man. But the original is pretty stripped down anyway, and doesn't have a bloody accordion ruining it throughout. So I won't want to listen to it again. The accordion actually replaces the lead guitar solo completely. Terrible. Song of the album...by some distance...is backwater. It's grown on me and does have a broody something. I like it despite some of the nonsense that almost ruins it. Rick sounds good. I don't have enough energy or enthusiasm to comment on any of the rest. Sadly, this is imo the worst Quo album since Spare Parts. It's also the only one I'm not going to buy - which for me really is something. I may download Backwater as I will want to listen to it again. Overall - quite astonishing really. A 14 song new Quo album - with only song I will want to listen to again. A new low. I'd rather watch the Bula Quo movie again than listen to this again Sad, sad, sad

Not heard it other than snippets here & there & will certainly never buy the thing but my guess is the accquordion totally ruins every song like on the 1st one?

There are none from the small clips I've been subjected to, So rossi you don't do nostalgia but instead just murder some of the best tracks from your back catalogue in an "acoustic " manner?? Thank goodness Alan and John are no longer involved in this sad debacle Cheers
