This is not a slagging off post, dissing all who have chosen to keep their tickets for this "final" tour, hope anybody goin enjoys the "show", (will be 1st tour I've reneged since'84). BUT, my overriding feeling is of utter disbelief at how this year has panned out. Ok, the band announce the final 'electric' tour - we guessed that was comin in the next coming couple of years anyway. BUT, compare the feeling of 'EOTR 84' to this years effort:- '84 = genuinely very sad for the Q Army and still massive live credibility with the general public & music press etc, whereas 2016 = just sad - full stop.(Imo)

They announced the final tour and then are hit by Parfitt's health scare. I believe if Parfitt had been taken ill first there would have been no LATE tour. In 1984 they were too young to retire and it was odds on they would return. Now years and years later they are old enough to retire and it's obvious they should.

Persons proposeth, Weird disposeth. Nobody knows what will happen. (Other than death, taxes and data loss, not necessarily in that order.)
