Completely unbelievable comments over on Fruit N Nutcases.
So if the band were to put on a pie-eating contest on stage (a la Stand By Me, though this band wouldn't know anything about that being backstabbers) and fans were wetting themselves laughing, it would be OK, would it?
F**k me.
Some people think this band is here to amuse. Well, they are. They aren't Status Quo, that is for sure. The name has been well and truly p****d on with Rossi and his bunch of quacks. That'll set off John Sergeant who takes a maddy whenever someone mentions anything to do with ducks.
I know referencing what goes on on there is discouraged but the continued gloating because "Quo" have been able to carry on and with the attacks on this place over the past week or so, Mary Whitehouse can like it or lump it. Probably will get labelled a misogynist for saying that. A truly despicable figure she is.

Don't know where you're talking about the show goes on from this pic from fb.  The comments are mixed. Those who've bought tickets and are going are obviously going to be positive. And plenty of fans upset over the tour going ahead without Rick and the set list. As for C&C - I really don't know what you're referring to (and I don't need to) as quick look over there says otherwise. One fan gives a positive gig report because he went. And that is fine, if its what he likes. But its quickly followed by disappointment over the set list. And as you have a freer place to post about Quo over here, what is the purpose about moaning over a mb and how they run things, when that I don't think you're even a member there are you? Quite funny really. |

Quite funny really. The point is that it relates directly to this MB. You have an admin over there acting all high and mighty while slagging off this board and allowing her members to do so also. Them of all people making comments about members on here. Them... I'll shut up now. It's come down to gloating because "their band" has continued. Fine if "Quo" continue with Rick, but Rhino CANNOT sing. Francis CANNOT sing. And he forgets the words. It won't get any better for the UK dates. I'm not going to the gigs nor did I have any intention of doing so if Rick was there, but the view that this is somehow acceptable beggars belief. The question still stands - if the band make the fans laugh, is that OK? Not sure what you find funny. But then again, Quo fans (particularly CQ ones) seem to be affected with Puerile Bullshit Incontinence. |

it is a childish to f...k almost everything now, about FR /members of a band, the last tour, audience etc. Some of you here. There have been very insulting writings. Why bother all a time to ruin, if its sooo horrible now. And you got your tickets back eh? Let it be then- I know, most here knows NOW that forum member x or x or x or or or is frustrated. How cruel..life is. So FR/SQ, their songs are suddenly pure S..T! ( yep now some said 'CQ's been a crap since 86). Holy Moses! If one member is out, its not Rossi's fault, or guy with rhythm guitar. Not bassplayers or his sons fault? Rhino is singing yep, he's not so bad:), not pavarotti but takes a place there (this case). Rain/Creepin.., there could have been many other tracks, but..it was not so big surprise that set is again like that? Showbiz goes on- to the end of the road. Band sounding very very good in live still. Can't understand some moanings bout livesounds or crew. Amps are now poor, as mixing? like some person wrote. How much she/he knows bout roadcrew work? Those tube clips are mostly poor ones with quality, guess everybody knows it? And yes call me a ass-licker-dont you?  I like good rock music and thanks to Rossi for it. |

Hence the passionate anger you see. |

Some fans think it's sh1t, others don't, all down to opinion. Pretty good attendances at moment at the gigs as well, so it doesn't matter how many different ways/topics we have on here spreading the negativity, the show goes on.

Yes, but derryquo proved that this site is not just some meaningless, easily forgotten about backwater (pun intended). There are ways to put a spanner in the works of the Quo machine. |
