DerryQuo,you did real Quo fans proud. Other fans played their part as well, but 10/10 for shaming the worst management in rock music. 100% agree....well done DerryQuo for standing up to the faceless and shameful Quo machine.

Least we know he reads this place That's no way to speak to a loyal fan, who has spent shit loads on them. It's not like you were being awkward and asking Rick or Francis for a selfie while they were shopping or having a shit, you were asking for what you were entitled too. We won is right. A sad end but, we won The whole affair has completely disillusioned me. I am so thankful that I had 2013 and 14. Next time they thank their loyal fans, we should spit at them. Fair enough that a refund was made, but suggesting "spitting at them" is really poor form.

The bottom line here is the simple fact that these dates should ALL now be pulled.
IF Rick is able to play live next year a short SUMMER tour could be scheduled under the banner of 'Last Night Of The Electrics', then simply call it quits for live work.
Continuing the 2016 WINTER dates is complete madness, there is the bad feeling amongst fans of the way everything has been handled, plus both Andy and Francis are in their late 60's, there is more pressure on Francis as he will be singing ALL the songs (apart from possibly the odd one).
It's 100% guaranteed that either Francis or Andy will get ill during December (as usually happens) and some dates will be pulled anyway.

But Mrs Smith from Doncaster wants to hear RAOTW before she settles down to watch It's A Wonderful Life... the "Xmas special" of Loose Women... Mr Smith ruining the turkey... why deny her another helping of over-billed, mindless tosh?

I'll bet the management have already told Francis that "so called hardcore fans are inciting others to spit on you"
However it was meant, it's not a figure of speech that I like or have heard before. I think all references to spitting should be removed. It's ended up spoiling a thread that otherwise may be of interest to "a handful" or more of us...

Well it can't be removed now, but because I respect you, yes clearly a figure of speech, so let me clarify, next time they thank their loyal fans, we should remind them that they shouldn't treat loyal fans with the high level of disregard that they have, which could be translated in a figure of speech, as them spitting down on us!!!!!!

I bet Francis nor any of Quo hear about how management treat the fans. Still, would they do anything if they did? Nope. Unfortunately, this isn't Mick Jagger or Noel Gallagher we're talking about. Quo have loudmouths, but with no bottle. They can always fire their management. Never Too Late for that. But they may also have a different opinion.

Back on topic: did Derryquo force the refund, started by ...Derryquo. Has the success gone to his head? Now that he singlehandedly brought Duroq to their knees, does the admiration cloud his wits so much that he starts writing about himself in Julius Caesar style, 3rd singular? Charles doesn't like it, Charles is worried.

I wonder if a film will be made of DQs struggle. Who would play him? Who would play Porter?

As long as it isn't macho. Nothing is below them, as proven by them taking their clothes off. Had to laugh at Francis saying in one interview that Porter was the best manager they've ever had. Of course he is when they had to fight against various managers in the early days, they were done out of money (allegedly) by people later on. But I don't think Porter is any better a manager than David Walker. Things people think he (Porter) is responsible for have merely fallen into place (e.g. Radio 2 airplay, Top 10 albums) for Quo because older artists have to be represented (amongst other reason I won't divulge), and album sales nowadays are pathetic.

I just never get the feeling that love of the music features anywhere on managements radar. I don't think it has for a long time.
