That's really quite an unpleasant response from management - no need for it whether the answer was yes or no to the refund. It shows a lack of class.
The logic is basically that it doesn't matter who is in the band so long as it's called SQ. That's a matter for each and every fan to individually decide - it's not upto management.

It's the whole nonsense that the show will be as good as ever. Like Rick is easily replaced. Wouldn't it have been enough to say a great show will still be provided. Even with the giant hole left by the machine. All I'm saying is he must have big hands. The number of people I know who want a refund. Yes it's not thousands but it is more than a handful.

I would urge you all to do that because that is the only way you will get a result from reading all the posts on here. The only fans who have been assured refunds went direct to Duroc - Derry Quo being the main one. To me, it is obvious that they want to make it as hard as possible for you all. Contact details are in this link which is tucked away at the bottom of the Quo official website.

I hopefully now all you have to do is send a polite message asking for one. I would also mention that you'd read about the news in the press. It might also be a way for them to get an indication of the numbers requiring one. Good luck.

Hi All, Duroc are just shifting the blame from themselves responding in patronising terms and IMPO is the response of the guilty after being pulled up for what ever they have done wrong. A similar thing just happened to me with a dispute over three aviation prints paid for and not received.
Even though the artist new he was in the wrong the artist never coughed up claiming this that or the other about not having that type of money which was all bollocks until I told him I reported him to GAVA (By the way they do shit all).
Even then he wrote a patronising e-mail repeating what he said and how he would cough up after a certain air show even though I refused to accept this. It doesn't matter how big the company is or if it's a person when caught out they shift the blame so they still look good, when at the end of the day they are just scammers nothing more nothing less just different scales of conning whoever out of cash. What's worse is those who have been scammed will have to jump through allsorts of hoops to get their money back even though legally they are entitled to a refund....
I am just glad that DQ forced Durocs hand and others will now get the refund they are entitled to.....

Songkick have emailed me to confirm my refund will go through in the next 10 days.
I'm gutted in a way that I will probably never see them again but no Rick, no Quo.

I just had confirmation from SongKick my refund will be in my account within 10 days....... For me no Rick (or Francis) no Quo. After all these years it's over. Enjoy your retirement Rick and thanks for those great memories

Got my refund today. Wonder what would have happened in 86 if the fans done this I suppose it did happen in a way as many fans deserted after Alan left. Refunds weren't required though as those fans knew in advance that Alan wouldn't be appearing so they didn't buy tickets in the first place.
