I might be being a bit unsensitive here and maybe a bit selfish, but the thought that there could be a cracker or even a stinker of an album left out there makes me wonder what is there left out there. Good or the bad, us Quo fans will take it all. Tonight I am in sad and fucked off mode. This thing with Rick is really starting to sink in now..... This is the way it is.... 😡

Thing is, this damp squib was forecast. And as many would have it, it's been pretty damp for the last 30 years.
So shouldn't be a shock to some. You'll get over it.

The thing is we all move on. I stopped buying albums after 1-9-8-2 (I think that was the last one). I received as presents Rock 'till You Drop, Heavy Traffic, ISOTFC, Quid Quo Pro a couple of compilations and the awful Riffs album. I play a couple of them very rarely. So to me recorded music wise they finished over 30 years ago. They were still great live if you ignored the 'Rhino' stage antics. As we know they had their absolute peak in the mid 1970's. If like me you were there then you were blessed. Incredible, does not describe it back then. My last electric gig of the current line up was at Bournemouth 2012, it was an embarrassment. My last gig proper was the acoustic Roundhouse event a couple of years ago, it was a great day for me as there was old skool Quo on Radio 2, Camden is a great place, the venue was superb and it was packed with hardcore as well as casual punters. Also I thought it was going to be a one off event. Just a few months before that though were the outstanding reunion gigs following on from the previous year.Well what can one say about those superb events that has not been written. Parfitt was immense. It has now sadly petered out, quite a few on this board predicted it this way. We will all have our memories of this once barnstorming group of lads, all happy ones I hope. So for me its the tribute bands but I hope that maybe I can see once more Frame,Spud and Nuff share a stage once more.

Perhaps as sad as I was in 2014, though at least with the FF there was a glimmer of hope it might happen again, though since yesterday I've had a large sense of deja vu. yeah it's sad the way it's ended up, !! Rock on Rick.!!
