Rick Parfitt and Status Quo, he leaves the band for the year to follow. Rick is improving daily and living a fairly normal life, But Status Quo is far from normal. We had hinted that many things would go on hold as Rick was unwell, and as pleased as we are to know Rick is really so much better that work plans for him to join Quo have gone on hold. The stage show is a huge under taking for which you have to be fit, then there is the travelling between cities in between. The film, Bula Quo was by far the hardest they both had worked, and whilst they both loved it and want to do another one 5am wake up calls to go into make up for a 12 hour shoot day are not on the agenda for Rick at the moment. rather than say no, the film may well be changed, but as the last one changed over and over again, it could well be that this one changes and the film is a swan song for a band that has had both a long and successful career. Talks continue and just as we were in the office last week with manager Simon Porter, we will be meeting again soon, but changes mean work and the office is very busy as the band continues.

Laughable that they're saying that the last one changed and changed as if to excuse how s**t it was.
Stuart St Paul is NOT a writer. Jean Heard is NOT an actress. Simon Porter is NOT a producer.
Any other band wouldn't have given these three the time of day. They are only out for themselves.

Where was this statement copied from paradiseflats ? In the light of the official statement and Rick's Sky interview, I find this highly unlikely now. They said that the time that filming was harder work than touring. And sadly, I doubt that Rick's heart could take that strain ever again. Why would he risk it? And he'd be uninsurable and films and the talent are always insured.

Bollocks to Bula, was honestly one of the worst films i've EVER seen, and not remotely funny either.

God almighty, I can't bear to read all this twaddle from the Stuart St Paul camp.
Any excuse to roll out a bit of empty publicity for a non-existent film that will never happen.
Unless of course, I'm wrong, and they're working on the next bit of tax planning/movie investment.
My crystal ball is telling me it's going to be
LNOTE Aquostic II Rossi Solo Parfitt Solo Quo Musical
I'm just looking forward to Minehead next year. Anyone who misses the good old days should definitely come to Minehead.

Thank you. I think as above, this was put out yesterday so it co insided with the statement about Rick. It has that statement included. Shameless publicity for a film I doubt will ever be made.

Yep, yesterday's date is on the post. I guess they don't want to lose investors in the project with the announcement about Rick's health and near death experience. Fingers crossed that you are right. They are much better things they could do with their time than make another pants film.
