While I have always been a neutral fan. The new era of Aquostic while ok is not what I would really want from the band. Still It is what it is Quo songs done accousticly. I have never been a great fan of accoustic music though I do love Led Zep 3. There seemed to be a bit more passion when Led Zep did it. My biggest bug bear about it is too much emphisis on Violins playing the main Riffs of songs.
If they could have done the music more like this then I think I would love it more than I do.

I know Def Leppard aren't everyone's cup of tea but I've always loved this session. Just the 5 of them, no padding, classic songs thoughtfully reworked for acoustic instruments and not a permanent change in direction to pick up a new audience at the expense of those who have supported them for decades. This is how it should be done IMO...

Ive now watched the whole of the Hyde Park gig, again it's ok in parts. Matchstick Men and Claudie work well but the uptempo ones don't really work Accousticly especially with the mad Accordion running through them.
