If this is well known then I'll take the thread down, but I found this pretty interesting. It's an American podcast. so forgive their ignorance. I

Thanks for posting, AQ. I think it's a great interview (only heard 15', but will listen to the rest of it when I've time), it's genuine Rossi: down to earth, honest, funny and (unfortunately)spoken like the accountant he is.

I was shocked at how open he was, even down to naming favorite albums of the two different bands.

But thanks AQ, was a great listen.

That old interview, ''Status Quo was shite until we did acoustic, way better than that nostalgic rock crap we used to do, and Rick is a dickhead''!!

I was shocked at how open he was, even down to naming favorite albums of the two different bands. Not sure if I've heard that before or not (I have a feeling I have). But thanks AQ, was a great listen. What really got me was his considering the bands as separate and distinct. Maybe y'all have heard that before, but I hadn't. And I don't argue with his selection of the two best albums from each period, although picking a favorite FF album seems impossible to me.

By the way, I finally came up with the name of the band post 1986, when only half of them were left: Semi-Quo.

By now it's Quarter Quo (QQ). You've read it here first, folks! Or maybe even just "Quorter" given their desire to get the word "Quo" into other words wherever possible.
