Not keen on either but B2B is possibly the worst album they ever made.

No Coghlan and it's never going to be Status Quo really. It's great that a lot of fans who never saw him play in the 70s/80s saw the FF shows and understood that he IS the drummer in Status Quo.He contributed so much to the sound and energy of the band, not a flashy drummer by any means but like Bobby Moore can't run, can't tackle, can't header but for some reason he's fcuking brilliant.

Hi All, If I had to choose between either it would 1982 as BTB was possibly the start of their decline IMPO. The albums that have followed have just not lived up to the FF's worst album. Every band goes through their rough patch but it seems that FR threw in the towel with the band being a Rock/Boogie band recording just for a pay day.
Yet the odd good track does come from the band every now and then with possibly a couple of semi-descent albums in form of Heavy Traffic and QPQ just a shame really that the band have turned a corner from the road they were on. Quo have always had their softer side which is all fine in my book but to become the band they are today playing from what most on the forum have said the hey-day music with a couple of newer tracks at gigs is such a come down IMPO.
Having said the above I can still listen and buy their music I just think that they are and have been on a very steep downward trajectory as far as their music goes. While not apposed to AQ 1 it was a departure I never expected and with 2 released it seems their is a mkt. A lot of rock bands have released their softer tracks as they know it makes money also they have gone acoustic but not many have chosen the route Quo have.
Being honest I do listen to AQ and the AQ2 will be a crimbo present, I just accept them for what they are a very, very softer Quo never mind all the rest of the Bo11ocks that has gone on. No I do not agree with some of the shit that has been bandied around with the recent FTMO interview being just the latest in a long line of that has caused so much outrage among fans.
At the end of the day it's each to their own you listen, read attend etc.etc.etc. what you like it's that simple.......
Geoff.

Geoff. Geoff, I hate CQ's output, especially in contrast to how much the FF output means to me, and I could never be as kind as balanced as you are here, but nonetheless I thought your post was well put. Hi All, Carl, See I can do it when I have a ghost writer doh Oops!! secrets out..........
Geoff.

82 - Quo albums lowest ever point. Lower even than Aquostic II. Apart from the 1st 3 tracks of AII, which are so low they're unlimboable. Mind you, I've not yet dared listen to tracks 4 onwards, so I guess 82 might yet have an inferior. I never thought it possible.

Hmm. Concerned as i am to admit it, I like 1982. It's not great, true, but I've great memories of that album. B2B I thought was awful, but I do love Ol' Rag Blues.
"She Don't Fool Me" (Rick Parfitt, Andy Bown) – 4:36 - good "Young Pretender" (Francis Rossi, Bernie Frost) – 3:34 - good "Get Out and Walk" (Rick Parfitt, Andy Bown) – 3:13 - good "Jealousy" (Francis Rossi, Bernie Frost) – 2:55 - OK "I Love Rock and Roll" (Alan Lancaster) – 3:16 - Hmmm Side two
"Resurrection" (Andy Bown, Rick Parfitt) – 3:49 - Great "Dear John" (John Gustafson, Jackie Macauley) – 3:14 - Magic "Doesn't Matter" (Francis Rossi, Bernie Frost) – 3:41 - OK "I Want the World to Know" (Alan Lancaster, Keith Lamb) – 3:23 - OK "I Should Have Known" (Francis Rossi, Bernie Frost) – 3:31 - Pish "Big Man" (Alan Lancaster, Mick Green) – 3:45 - Hmmm
