Simon Julou No it was Francis. I was there Rick stayed to the end. Francis has been pretty disparaging about it since then which is why I wonder how they'll persuade him to do another. Unless he has a lot of tax to write-off. Then, of course, he would be more willing. I'm hoping and praying that he won't though. And you are correct about the roots of Aquostic. It was both the Coles ads and Radio 2 who set that one up. The director of BQ is a shameless hustler who will say anything to cling on to Quo and influence them. Thanks curiousgirl. Not sure why I thought it was Rick? (can only blame old age!) As things with the Frantic Four have shown if Francis doesn't want to do something it won't happen (and with regards to another movie we can only hope that on this occasion he doesn't change his mind). I remember hearing an interview with Stuart St. Paul where he said the sequel was written in such a way that any band could be in it (didn't have to be Quo). Always assumed that was a bit of a get-out clause on his part to save face. Stuart St Paul wrote a book about "How to get your film financed". This is what he seems to be expert in. Run! PS no doubt that is what "a page in a long book" refers to And that jaunt is of course "work" and so tax deductible, I expect. No daft person, that man!

Too bad (yeah right!) that the Fijians aren't willing to play ball. It's so laughable that it makes you cry. Surely to f**k now that people can see Porter is an incompetent loon for getting involved with these chancers in the first place? And if he's willing to deal with them again, he's a proper nutjob.
