Excellent sold out gig in pretty Vivary Park in Taunton on a lovely Summer evening. Packed house of 6000 who enjoyed every minute of the Quo performance I think, I certainly heard no complaints and Quo played very well. Richie does a fine job and the rest of the band cover where needed, including more vocals from Andy and Rhino than I've seen before. Francis was a legend and seemed in a very playful mood, even though the dressing room facilities (provided at a nearby school) were a bit below par in his opinion!
The support from Steve Harley was musically strong but not very exciting and only his familiar closing number got the crowd rallied behind him.
It was a big Quo day, with local tribute "Quo No" playing at the Winchester Arms in the afternoon. They drew a decent crowd and even got a bit of TV coverage thanks to BBC Somerset interviewing me as a crazy world travelling Quo fan!
Just got back from the gig in Llanelli, report to follow - but it was an absolute ripper!

Francis was a legend, (and now he's an insecure little show off>with no band members left. vomit_100_107 )

Even though he doesn't follow them anymore. Rockon to the next one. Wilquo

Lee...what an amazing life you have as in following your passion. You'd have to be Quos most loyal fan and I've enjoyed your reports through the years. Looking forward to more news. Have you heard any news of Ricks reunion with Francis onstage?
