Great gig if a little short but understandable in the circumstances. Stand in guitarist and vocalist Rick did well, as did all of them. I don't know any details but it sounded serious for Baz. My best wishes to him and his family. They said it was a difficult gig for them to play. I arrived a bit late but in time for a storming Rockers Rollin'. I've never rated it that much before but I love their version. I particularly loved April and Spinning wheel blues and Roadhouse. John did his little talk at the front as usual and said that Rick (Parfitt! that's weird having to identify which Rick!) is getting better thankfully and also Alan is well. Now for the big news...and I hope it's ok to post but I figured if John wanted it kept quiet he wouldn't have said it... he said he was trying to get Alan to come over next year to play with his band, maybe at the Convention!!! Well after that bombshell, it's back to the studio....

I've just booked up for the Quovention Oct next year and as Viv said it was a great gig and stand in Rick played his part very well. Nice to see Viv again, but I had to dash back to get the train home, as soon as the band finished. There's a clip I took of 'A Year' on you tube, haven't got a clue how to upload it on here.. doh

Glad you made it Viv and that you had a good time. Interesting news too.
