Totally agree Davy,never got the recognition he deserved.Up there with Rory as a blues guitarist although for me no one ever played with such heart and soul as Rory.Hope you enjoy this.

Such nice tone. Proper sweet valve amp harmonics from a simple old telecaster. And a great example of just how well suited to jazz the rhythm pickup of a Les Paul is. Are you really trying to say that you liked him and his guitar a lot?  |

In defence of Rossi, he was always highly complimentary of Gary Moore and his playing.
They've obviously crossed paths and Gary probably just said that for a cheap laugh and meant no harm

Rossi is not complimentary about himself, he just plays a bunch of diddle's.. he's too modest. Ever tried writing such diddles? Frame is a good player in my book - recognisable - not just bog standard blues licks. Rossi said that, not me..!! think the exact quote was, there just a bunch of diddle's, when it was mentioned to him how great his solo's were on the 2014 reunion tour, I listen most days and love every second of those solo's, though what would I know, I can't play Guitar like Gary Moore or Even Rossi |
