Quo in time.. yeps, Pete Kircher was a top notch drummer. . You know, I've never seen this. I know loads of fans really like Pete, but I think he was terribly dull - very bass-snare-bass-snare. And I'm not saying this because I am a FF/Spud fan - I think the other Quo drummers were better than Pete too. What is it you like about him, Paul? Is it the timekeeping? Pete for me got Quo live more than any other drummer before or after. He was so solid and gave all the songs a real heavy groove much like Phil Rudd did in ACDC. Was unfortunate he had to play on a couple of albums where the production and songwriting wasn't as up to it as previous efforts, but listen to I should have known, she don't fool me and Resurrection as some great examples of his straight forward style. My favourite Quo drummer such a shame he didn't get the call from Rossi in 86 Cheers

Good question. That tough bloke in a pictures:) Well, no silly tricks with symbals, or needless drum fills. Like Mark said: just solid work behind a kit. And timekeeping, course. That snare is just what i like most. Murdering sound in live.. not tiny drum sound really, no jazz:) I think those years with quo were enough for him. And JR/JE came with a deal like two in one..
