The posts in response to this will range from "Who cares? It's nearly over now." to "They're enjoying themselves. That's all that matters." to "It's none of your business!" Clearly, some people live in their own wee world that they don't care what anyone else thinks. As long as they're getting their usual dose of high-jinks from Quo (instead of proper medicine and full-time care), they're content. I must have missed this thread when it was first posted but hold my hands up to your first paragraph, as seen from my recent posts. However your second paragraph could equally apply to you!

Those on here who accept what rossi and porter have done are responsible for the decline of this band...you accepted the crap they dished out and that allowed for them to get off with more and more... My guess is that Rick has gone..They are gonna carry on without him. My words in 1986. 'with Rossi is charge its no longer Quo.'

I take full responsibility for Quo's decline as you see it. Anything to keep you miserable bastards happy... You are not happy unless you are not happy.. Fuck, I sound as confused as curious girl. Rockon Wilquo So cos someone doesn't comply with your opinion of how Quo is nowadays, they are miserable bastards ? Just cut out the namecalling and keep the convo civil please, thank you. Cant believe I'm doing this but gotta defend an Aussie... it's stusqu ffs and it's just banter with no harm imo. This place is way better than Rickys way out of control board but we don't want this place too sterile do we?

We moved on to other bands and listened to the Quo classics. I went to a couple of tours. I remember leaving early if wasnt for me. Songs too fast, keyboards to high in the mix, dreadful vocals from Rhino and shit songs from in the army now in the set.

But he made a call and we support him in it. Please, if things are going well, can we not get back to querying every mod decision and comment again. There's plenty of banter on this forum.

I gave up going to live shows in 92..went back for old times sake in 2010 and was impressed how good they were compared to 92..blew the roof off to be honest.

Yes, it was mainly the usual dominant 70's hits and CUOY etc. But they stepped up the gears on that occasion and kept the pantomime to a minimum of the sort they have kept slumping further and further into ever since. Also of course back then no-one was to know that the set list was destined to be (mostly) written in virtually the same stone right to the finish , so back then it was more acceptable.

Thanks Gaz even though I can't believe it either. Most of what I say is tongue in cheek and as you say banter. I will agree the bad language is unnecessary but sometimes I stuff up. Well most of the time....( good name for a song). I know many fans miss the old days. I am one of them. I just love the Quo and will do until the end. We all have our favourite moments in time, but for all of us , time moves on. At 61 years old I appreciate every day and will rockon till it's over. Rockon Wilquo

However, I felt that the post Live Aid line up just didn't sound much like Quo any more. They lost the groove & I don't think they've ever got it back.
