I met some lovely people last night who go to a lot of music gigs - mostly rock. I asked them if they saw Quo and they said, "yes lots of times" but they didn't go to the reunion tours. I asked them if they were going to The last tour of the Electrics and they said, "no. we'll go to the next one." with a big grin. The implication was that they thought it was a gimmick. I wonder how many other regular goers but not hard-core Quo fans think like this?

Makes me wonder what is going on in the Quo camp, I mean, I thought this Aquostic 2 was coming out & haven't heard of them in the studio. Which means they gonna record it next year after this tour? Last electric tour, maybe so.

I would imagine that most of the regular once every year/every other year types are the ones who embrace the status quo and want the static hits set and onstage entertainment. I'm sure that CQ et management, despite talk of age vs workload, will be tempted to cram in as many gigs as they can this year to capitalise financially on this last tour bonanza, and therefore keep any changes (that is, if there are any at all) to a minimum to keep these fans pleased and assure maximum attendance from them.
Its very hard to know from a brief report, but I would think that the people stated in the OP, assuming they would indeed be interested in any further FF appearance, would unfortunately be the exception to the rule as described above
Yes, there were two reunions, and some will point to those as being the gestures to silence the hardcore, but notwithstanding that, the unfortunate irony is that many hardcore fans (many of whom have supported the band for decades or from the start) are now it seems the minority concern right at the finish

They need to record an album at IBC studios with Lancaster and Coghlan.A pumped up version of Ma Kelly's à la Piledriver would do for a start...They're better guitar players now and some of those songs need the Parfitt treatment.

This will be the last tour. ..as the reason for it, was that there was no demand left..

I should have said the regular causals rather than the loyal followers of post 86 Quo.

Can understand that , but I'm still baffled that rock fans who have regularly seen Francis's Quo would miss out on seeing the original line up .

As I say... we need the Goodbye! album I agree, although it's not an original idea:

They're twirly finger, point to me fans.
