What's the deal with AFX? How come they are the only site that have available seats in my desired block and venue..... For an extra £24 "convenience fee". Is this the price I pay for missing the pre sale ?

For me, having missed the pre sale , I would have expected to get seats in a position pretty much where I have got them for the last Lord knows how many years from either the venue or the main seller (in this case Ticketmaster) But what I've found is that the only seats I would accept are only available through AXS at face value plus a so called "convenience fee" of £24! ...... Just what is convenient about it? This is what strikes me a a Rip Off.

Does a "convenience fee" mean it's en suite?

Well that does sound like a rip-off. But as I don't know where you want to see Quo, I can't understand why you can only buy tickets via AXS. From a quick online search just now: I could buy tickets for Quo at 02 (only crap ones left there folks) via O2 site. (they do charge a stiff booking fee of £6 plus postage - from memory.) Or directly from BIC Bournemouth. (no idea what their fees are.) If you look on official Quo site at their tour list, there are numerous tickets links for all dates and not just AXS. Good luck in getting tickets.

I was going to Brum. Phoned the Arena and the blocks I wanted have sold out. Only room near the back. Tried the partner sites from the Tour Page and they want inflated prices.

No wonder you're pissed off. Those resale sites are sure a rip-off. I bought tickets last year for someone else through one of them and ended up paying about 20 odd notes in fees/postage.

Like a said a bit earlier about "Tickemaster Platinum" at £150 a shot which they said weren't even resale ...
This is a fast-selling gig because of the hype, and the ripoffs are crawling out of the woodwork to where we can see them.
The kids who go and see the "big pop stars" are dealing with this kind of thing all the time.
I support genuine reselling, but I think it should be controlled. Not sure how, though!

Yes, that's how it works. But I'm not too miffed as we got decent tickets for ZZ Top at below face value last year, right before the gig. (That is the only time it happens, though.)

My beef with the tickets is that some companies (either Ticketmaster partners or not) appear to have been able to buy up tickets in the pre sale solely to sell them on at an inflated price. Surely this practice is,or should be made illegal. Is this practice really what reselling sites should be used for? ......seems more like legalised touting to me.

No conflict of interest there. Nope, nothing to see here. Move along.

If this "last ever" electric tour was the ff, It would have been a totally differently case and would be well n truly pissed off with these deals on offer. But, I don't relish paying well over the odds for front row tickets for a half arena gig, to see 3 x failed 'x factor' trollops, reo s.wagon album tracks dragging out for 'keep on loving u', and CQ doin 70mins. I'll still do Leeds & London 02 out of blind loyalty, but I'll just take whatever seats are left available, cheers,
