Actually, that is how bookers does things. They start by selling a certain number of seats, if the tickets sell then they push the stage back a bit and sell more tickets. It it very common and nothing weird or wrong about it. It's just a way to get the place feel packed!

Nonsense...tickets have now been sold ato the sides in the blocks as per the arena..if they move the stage back, those who bought the tickets early would end up further back from the stage... And the demand is not there. .. Where's that book porter

It's exactly what bookers do. Especially the ones working for this kind of size arenas.
And what you said about the demand, well, it's exactly why they're doing it, by only using half of the arena, the have a chance of selling out, making everyone think there's a ticket pressure, and then "LOOK, WHERE RELEASING MORE LIMITED TICKETS TO THIS SOLD OUT SHOW".
It's not science dudes, come on..

It's not science dudes, come on.. At the risk of repeating myself...they can't and won't.. there maybe extra tickets released...but it won't be due to moving the stage, it will be due to expensive packages not selling and them being put on market at more reasonable prices...

Doesn't Since88 mean they move the Curtain back... I don't know if this venue is in the round or a horseshoe. But if its a pros arch (ie end on show) and they've not sold seats at the back, due to a curtain, then they can sell those if there is demand.

They have moved to the stage forward...so to make the hall bigger they have to move the stage back, thus if yiu had already paid for seats on the side and they move he stage back, you will be further away...Make sense?

Ah, thanks for explaining. That does make sense of comments so far. How weird. However, they could still keep seat nos the same for the new front rows and keep people in the seats they've booked. I feel sure that is what would happen in reality.

Again, I don't care how it was done in Dublin. This is how it's done when they're not sure about the demand.
Look it up!

I think the fact that they have done this...is an indication of the real demand. .This stage won't move..This will no doubt be filmed and they clearly didn't want a black curtain.

No it's not...normally they sell the back of the hall if there is a big demand, or curtain it like Wembley. ..or sell the top tiers like the 02.. This stage will not be moved back...peoplenty have bought seats for allocated parts of the arena that are already named in different sections Give me one example of where this was previously done..

In Sweden they do this regularly, especially at Ullevi Stadium in Gothenburg that takes 75000...
