Even compared to Status Quo they are proving themselves to be money grabbers.
Brian will not be available for the UK shows, they know that already. In the US dates have been rescheduled.
Not a word in the UK. Apart from the Manchester venue, saying the gig will go ahead.
So fans are forking out on trains and hotels for a gig that at best will gave a 'guest' vocalist.
I wonder whether ther they are waiting for fans to make arrangements so they will go and not ask for a refund as they will have paid out hundreds already.
Even Status Quo with their shoddy gig without Rick didn't rip fans off as badly.

I can't comprehend them touring without Brian - it seems ridiculous.

I can't comprehend them touring without Brian - it seems ridiculous. They've managed without Bon Scott for 36 years with some guy who likes to shout instead of sing.

Whether you like him or not.....36 years!!!! And you can't say they trade off former glory - the majority of the set is post Bon. Let's face it, changing the singer after 36 years in the job would be unusual! I think Angus and Brian have become the double act / public face of AC/DC. I don't think the paying punters would be happy without both of them appearing. Guess we'll find out soon enough!

I thought my comment might ruffle a feather or two!
I'm not doubting their success since Brian entered the scene. Was it because of a popular previous album/hit and as emotions were running high due to the premature death of Bon? We'll never know.
But since Brian, undoubtedly their music has grown a little heavier and less bluesy which many love.
I however still struggle with Brians voice. To be honest, I can't abide it. Musically, they're bloody great.

I have to admit, Back on Black is bloody formidable.

The cost of cancelling all the remaining dates would be 10s of millions of pounds. They'd never get a booking again. The show must go on and all that.

Still sad to see it coming to and end for Brian and surely for the band too.

Yeah they would be insured, but it's millions of pounds they're not earning plus merch sales etc.
