Going to a wedding next week , I suppose they'd go down well if they played RAOTW/WYW with the grannies and drunks .

Well, they played Portsmouth Guildhall on the Aquostic tour [thankfully, I was working that evening!] but I'd love to see a reunion gig there. I don't think the four have them have played there since 1973.
In the meantime, it's John Coghlan's Quo at The Brook, Southampton tonight - I hope they've got 3xl t-shirts this time!
The Status Quo Show would probably have to make do with The Pyramids or Wedgewood Rooms in Southsea.

I'd love to be able to wear my old Levi jacket , but only at a QUO gig , but that won't ever happen again as rossi won't play game and Alan's a bit wobbly now , also that jacket stopped fitting me way back in 81'ish , then sat in the wardrobe for 3 decades till the wife persuaded me it was time for it to go ! , so ebay it went .

Aberdeen Music Hall.
Not as big as the warehouse that is the AECC but would be better atmosphere at a smaller but full (and standing) venue.

Suprised they haven't played Knavesmire after racing - guaranteed crowd.

The Westcliff Pavilion, in Southend is a good size venue. They haven't played there since the Pictures Tour.

Aye, zipping off as soon as the footie finishes! Hey Dennis... How was the gig? Good performance by the band - not as polished as the Status Quo Show, of course. Great atmosphere. The new bass player fits in well & took on some of the lead vocals as well. There were a few set changes from the last time I saw them too. Sadly, no 3xl t-shirts. Apparently they'll be back in the Autumn to perform a double-header with Rhino's Revenge - the initial response from the audience was, er ... muted!
