I'm trying to make a playlist of the earliest known videos of Quo playing various songs. Obviously it's better if they were really playing them, such as in front of the German audience circa 1971, but if not at least pretending to play them. I'm not talking about recorded tracks only, just the ones with a video accompaniment. If you have recommendations I'd love to have them. Thanks!

Not sure exactly what you are looking for, guessing Doing Their Thing would fall into that era, or Paper Plane and Don't Waste My Time from the Marquee in 72, all should be on youtube, although I'm not sure if the whole of doing their thing is still there but was also on one of the dvd releases in recent years

This is the earliest video i've ever seen of Quo playing live - Bloodhound - Kastival in Kasterlee, Belgium, 31st August 1968, but audio looks to be dubbed over the video and mostly not in sync, so whether it's even from the same performance, not known. Maybe the original uploader/source had video only.
Roy Lynes had some footage of Bloodhound on his YouTube channel years ago he said was from Wembley Empire Pool in April 1969, but he's since deleted all Quo-related content from his channel. I saved the video but wouldn't want to re-post it out of respect for him.
(* actually, having just looked at it again, Roy's footage sounds overdubbed with one of the versions of Bloodhound from the Pictureqsue... deluxe edition BBC sessions, and footage might not be of that actual tune anyway. It's definitely 1969 though as Francis is wearing that patterned sleeveless jersey/pullover he wore quite a bit that year.)
The other early Quo videos are all playbacks/miming on TV until Doing Their Thing, i believe.

Thanks mate. If miming is all I can get that's okay, some songs were never played live to my knowledge, such as the five from Can't Stand the Heat. But at least they appear to be playing them. Rockers Rollin' also doesn't have a live video that I'm aware of. But I was stunned that Rollin' Home was part of a medley for a brief time.
