But it was written before an environmental issue. In fact today it would make a good song to use as a campaign towards Water Aid, but it was written long before things like that. tbh, I was being a little tongue in cheek there. However, now you mention environmental issues, you do know that Greenpeace was founded back in the early '70s - '71, I think I didn't realise that to be honest. I think on a wider scale though we only been environmental aware in the last 30 years or so. But what an excellent idea don't you think to use Dirty water for the Water Aid campaign? They could use it as their song, and maybe Dirty water could even become a hit out of it. |

Ginger Wildheart is a big fan of this. He told Rick the lyrics had really helped him. This is a great cover
I've never been too sure what I think about it, avoided listening at home as having it in the gigs was enough
