Sometimes feels like i’m in the minority but i’m really looking forward to Glasgow on Thursday and Friday.
Personally i’ll be getting the train up with my mate on Thursday, having a few beers and then enjoying the band with likeminded folk in Kelvingrove Park, seeing folk in the audience i’ve had the pleasure of bumping into over the years.
Good times!

Hi cammythemortonfan or anyone else, i don't suppose you know what the photography policy at the bandstand is?? Sorry to ask!
Fully expecting it to be phones only, but wondered if being an outdoor gig, things might be a little more relaxed with regards 'proper cameras' - just an average DSLR camera + normal size lens with a bit of zoom that might capture some good shots from the slight vantage of height.
Guessing the issue with these things is flashes accidentally going off and they won't allow anything that might do that!

I'm at Wolves with five others next Wednesday and also looking forward to it! Going to try and catch them when I can, as long as Rossi is still going and doing his thing, then to a degree it's still well worth it. Fully understand why it won't be for everyone and that's fine. I love Roll Over Lay Down and Don't Waste My Time, but also enjoy Burning Bridges live, maybe it's just me!  I saw some having a moan at the Quo 24 promo thing and I get it, but also not much different to doing a couple of jigs in the middle of Roadhouse blues live from 1973 onwards, encouraging folk to jump up and down a bit to doing exactly the same in the middle of Bridges, hey ho, onto the Civic I shall go! Never had a problem with a track live Burning Bridges, especially live, but things like Restless, that's a different ball game and deserves to be slated in my view. Hope you all have a good time, whoever's going and wherever you're off to.  |

One last jump about to WYW, one last head nodding from the end of the quite bit to the climax of ROLD, one more "I wish this could go on forever" when the band are crashing through the end of Down Down. Rossi, Parfitt, Lancaster, Coghlan,Lynes,Bown,Kircher,Edwards,Rich,Letley,Cave and Malone, that's a fantastic line up of musicians who've all done their bit to preserve the music of the greatest rock n roll band in the World. |

Sis has just sent me pics and a couple of vids. The band looked and sounded in good form. Although, as always when they come up here, Francis kept his jacket on all night. It was a beautiful night as well. She said it was good but not the same without her lifetime Quo companion. Bless. Oh, and she is seriously knackered and says she's getting too old for all this 'nonsense' Also said Cut Me Some Slack was dropped. Maybe time considerations. |
