Tik-Tok? Never been on Tik-Tok. Doesn't get a good press. I hope you're not leading me into the murky waters of assisted suicide
I went through all that after Restless Great comment I'm a dinosaur when it comes to a lot of this. A creature out of time mostly, feels like a Manic Street Preachers song decrying the death of the old ways. I love YouTube of course, but like MrWaistCoat above, the add's really aggravate. I have the premium as I listen to most music on YouTube but any videos other than that and I'm plagued with the ads. TikTok, like anything else I suppose, has plus and negative. Depends what you seek, what you're interested in. I still love physical product, albums, and I do have some interest in podcasts (like Justin Hawkins' podcast). I'll likely never be a tiktokker, but I know it serves an advertising purpose and in these days - it is content. Physical products we grew up on - purchasing albums, DVD's etc. Content is what artistes are almost expected to deliver these days on social platforms.

Well I've watched episode 1 and it's short, here was me expecting half an hour or something! I do like to hear any chat about individual tracks, albums, riffs, lead breaks etc. Always interesting to hear new stuff.

It's more like "Rossi / Young in small talk."
1 min 47 seconds, and not one of these original writing demo cassettes, that Bob had supposedly found, has made an appearance.
Dreadful, and poorly produced.
Captured straight onto a phone. No professional audio equipment. Cheap

Ep1 About Shy Fly
There is a fashion for shorts these days. On both YT and Tiktok.
There's no one asking them Questions to prompt the stories either. So they will be short.

Feels like a trailer for an episode, rather than an episode. It's going to be like collecting tokens for a free bottle of shampoo or something ain't it! How many do we need, 25? 30? Some expansion would be nice if you're going to go down this route. Could probably get at least 5 minutes out a an individual track like Shy Fly, who came up with the riff?, was it ever going to be a single?, if so, then why not?, what do you think of the drumming on that track in particular compared to rest of Ma Kelly album etc etc etc. Will see where this all goes anyway.

As much as I've always loved anything 'Rossi/Young', I sincerely hope (as mentioned elsewhere) it was just a Trailer, far too short in content

I did make a comment on the video criticising it, and what a shock... it is nowhere to be seen in the comments section.

I like the idea and when I saw the nice Rossi/Young logo thing they had put on the website I thought, ah interesting, this might be cool, but I was hoping for something far more in depth.
If they or anyone associated with them is looking on here, not that I expect that to be the case, may I suggest a simple format of targeting maybe 20-30mins an episode, looking at and discussing every track and album from the 1970's to start with.
Then they could maybe move into the later stuff from Heavy Traffic album onwards when Bob returned to the scene writing with Francis again.
If you are going to go into this kind of "podcast like" area, it's got to be worth it and meaningful, some kind of content that has some kind of worth and value to people who might be interested in tuning in. The 1 minute odd clip posted as an "episode" wasn't that.
I would be very interested to hear them discuss tracks, albums, riffs etc more in depth than we've ever had before in interviews, documentaries or books etc, but it's got to be worth it. For example, every week the local newspaper lads do a Wolves podcast, they discuss all major talking points from latest match played, look ahead to next match and any major talking points from within the club or wider football world that needs addressing that week whatever that might be, but these run for well over an hour every week, the content has value to those interested.
It could be a good idea, but they need to think about it a bit more to me, unless they surprise us with something better and longer next time. This below is obviously a different thing, but even this kind of discussion from Bob and Francis, maybe even holding copies of vinyl's and discussing individual Quo tracks from over the years would be far more engaging. Clip below talks briefly about the Quo album from around 2min55sec - 5min.
So for example you make episode 1 about the Ma Kelly album and everything that goes with that album, tracks, riffs, studio recording sessions, single ideas, any particular gig memories of that year, album running order views, any ideas you had at the time for album that we don't know about etc.
