Tik-Tok? Never been on Tik-Tok. Doesn't get a good press. I hope you're not leading me into the murky waters of assisted suicide I went through all that after Restless

Sounds like it might be a podcast-style conversation between Francis and Bob, on Francis' YouTube channel, about a load of cassette demos of their songs which Bob has. The same trailer is on the band's and Francis' Facebook pages. Without getting too carried away I think it sounds potentially really exciting! Fingers crossed...

I can't wait for them to discuss these demos that have been released time and time again... piss poor cassette quality ones rather than the clean masters (a lot of which exist).
I'm also so looking forward to all the demos that they both requested be removed from Heavy Traffic and Riffs deluxes to be discussed.

Bob said a couple of years ago that he wanted to release these Rossi/Young Demos. Maybe the time has come with this series… Only hope for the future?🤷🏼♂️

I hope you're not leading me into the murky waters of assisted suicide I went through all that after Restless Francis is very active on tiktok, you can see stuff like him making his dinner if you're so inclined! Tiktok is very addictive and clever, it figures out your interests very quickly. On the other hand, I think youtube is getting worse with annoying ad intrusions

Thank you 4th. If they are going to make a "thing" of his, Bob needs to stop muttering! Funny, I don't remember him being muttery.

I can't tell the difference between talk and mutter! [you've gotta be a certain age!]

I finally watched that trailer. I wonder who produces them? Clearly they are orchestrated.
Poor Bob playing it straight, and Francis playing... I don't know, Mr Rossi, I guess.

Are they going to speak about the tapes that contained the demos that were once on Bob Young's website? Some have been released, mainly in extremely lossy format.
Wouldn't mind getting a boxset or something with those as extras. Or even CD with just those (especially if finally in lossless), but they are not something that spectacular to be released alone, in my opinion.

All this Tik-Tok, YouTube, social media presence is just really a slight raising of the profile with a view to presumably attracting the attention of a different market. Or something like that.
From what I've witnessed, it is all very superficial. Like these things tend to be. But so obviously a 'business' move. At the behest of whoever.
Call me old fashioned but I'm interested in any product that might come out of it, not the scripted conversation that preceded it.
