I have often wondered why the From The Makers Of has never been released on cd in a blue tin to commemorate the vinyl blue tin that was released in 1982.
It would have made a nice release in 2022 as a deluxe edition with bonus tracks from the live at the N. E. C. recording to celebrate it being 40 years old.
I used to play my blue tin vinyl records to death, I thought it was a great selection of songs at the time, still do.
Opportunity missed perhaps??

I suppose with the amount of compilations over the years it wasn’t seen as commercially viable re releasing this one. Also the live at the NEC has now been issued separate on cd 3 times now. It would look a nice package never the less.
