It's remarkable isn't it that there is absolutely no footage whatsoever of them playing this live, besides the 2013 reunion of course.

Videotapes weren't available until the late 70's so that ship had sailed. Had the set remained the same into the early 80's, maybe it would have been different. Of course, there is footage of the band doing it as an encore but not the line up you want to see doing it And not with that audience participation opening. They didn't even do that during the reunion which I, personally, thought was disappointing.

A great way to start a gig. The head would be nodding from the opening bars, but saying that Caroline is also a great opener.

They didn't even do that during the reunion which I, personally, thought was disappointing. They couldn't really do the classic live opening with Parfitt and the classic chugga chugga. Firstly, that's too far down that dreaded hard rock road and secondly.... 2 thirds of audience would have died. I don't think the venues could have taken a full Juniors with the audience as they were during that tour. I have just had a surreal vision of any of the venues on the 2013 FF tour sort of marching off down the road as Juniors Wailing builds. Like one of those Monty Python cartoons.

Always a great memory for me as it was the first song I saw them perform live - a with most people, I guess, pre ROATW tour. It wasn't the same with Rick singing it in the encore as it lacked that great rush of anticipation and adrenalin which accompanied it as an opener
