Sounds very much like Last Dance In Dublin. Wonder if they'll ditch the name if enough of us complain about it?

Naff name, isn't it? Suspect it would be too late now to change it given the press release and fuss. It's misleading though as it's not the last electric night it's the electric last tour. Look at this home.bt.com/news/showbiz-news/status-quo-to-hang-up-electric-guitars-after-2016-tour-11364037407988 - I think some fans will get annoyed if they travel far / book hotels etc for a "last chance to see electric Quo", only to discover they continue to do electric festival gigs for the next four years! fan pressure did get "last dance" changed. Not sure "final fling" was any better though!

Just another marketing ploy to sell more seats. Boy is this lot tacky. Go out with a whimp rather than a bang. Quite sad they continue to short change themselves but good luck to them.

Yeah does seem like a marketing ploy. I've said I'm not going cos of lack of interest in this version of the band now, but I think I will be staying away now on the basis of seeing this for what it really is. The "specials" definitely leave the door open for more "proper" gigs, for me regards FF, a 6-7 night stint at Hammersmith would not be a tour and could easily come under "specials". Here's hoping!

The only name for the tour that would be credible, and apt, would be "Pulling The Plug"

I've always said that I would definitely be at Status Quo's last ever gig, wherever that might be in the world.
You make a very good point that indeed these shows won't necessarily be their last electric shows.

What's so good about about unplugged albums? That's not how the songs intended to be. I absolutely loath unplugged Clapton, especially Layfeckinla.

All the rage with the pillocks recording them Detroit...I've never owned one..except for Segovia live at Fillmore West.
