Not too many greats, but for me anyway the No.1 is well chosen. Genuinely fine stuff from the Stones.
One of my other top picks would be the Overkill album actually, 'Scorched'. Released same day as 'Tallica's '72 Seasons'. With Metallica taking much of the hype oxygen available, little remained for another legacy thrash act with same release schedule.
Overkill have had an amazing decade-plus resurgence since 2010. And their album this year is brimful of raucous, raging bangers.
I've heard the albums by the Struts, Maneskin, the Foos, and a bit of the Bonamassa. Looking forward to delving into Duff McKagans album over the holidays.
Mostly my listening is older stuff, but I try keep up with a little of what's going on in rock world currently. My most played artist though through 2023 was Sly & the Family Stone, that wonderful catalogue from '67 to '82.
