I have mixed feelings. Sad 'cos they're at the age they're ready to quit. Especially coming after all these recent deaths of music legends. But the Quo I loved with a passion ended years ago. Not sure what to think of the final tour. I'll await developments.

No AL or JC im out Well, guess we'll wait and see. If they're not included in some shape or form it'll be a disgraceful way to call it a day. I'll be gutted if they just play that same damn set as their 'goodbye'. Agree. After the last winter tour ( boring set ). I said i wouldn't go next year ( that's this year now of course ) but if it's going to be the last, then I'll go if only to say farewell to my favourite rock band who I've followed for 40 odd years. And bollocks to acoustic !! No thanks.

I said goodbye to Status Quo in Dublin. Great night it was.
They are already finished. To those who go enjoy the same set that's been churned out for a decade.

Those FF gigs were such a high for me. I cried after the last one thinking that was the last time I'd see the Quo I love play. Seeing Rhino and Leon thrash out songs, especially all the greatest hits... not for me. So maybe I should quit while I'm ahead. But then I'm a woman, and its our prerogative to change our minds.

It'll all be announced officially tomorrow!
Quite a sad day for many people.
On the plus side it should finally put to bed the constant bickering about what line up should take to the stage.......None!

Strangely, I don't feel particularly sad or disappointed. I feel pretty indifferent, actually. It's the version of the band that I haven't bothered going to see since 2005.. I said my FF goodbyes in 2014.
I'll probably make a point of going to see them on this farewell tour. Just to "see them off", so to speak.
Maybe I'll feel something then?

The rumour machine says that Quo will continue with acoustic tours... and that Aquostic 2 is happening this year.

My guess is 2 nights at the London O2, around December 16th, 17th for the last gigs of the tour.

To me it's not unexpected or sad. I personally have not seen them live for a while due to the stagnent set list. Don't think ill go this time either. I have seen them live so I got the experiance to remember. Only regret was that I could not make either of the FF tours due to family commitments and work. However that's life, still I think that as this will be the final electric tours Francis needs to bring the old Green Tele out of retirement.
