On the bright side, Bula Quo would never have been made.

On the bright side, Bula Quo would never have been made. Bollox to that - the Reunion Tours would have never happened!

Jeff didn't get a word in much back in the day, so it's good to see these. And he comes across as a really nice guy. Never knew this story though. Perhaps it's one R&P don't like to recall.

For what he says, all the clues coincide, that show was at the Patio de Armas, Leganés, Madrid, 18th August 1992, not a bullring but an old militar camp (sort of). My father was at that particular show, it was his first Quo show. My mother was supposed to attend too, but, somehow, my uncle (my father's brother) got her ticket, without paying it (even when my cousin was born few days before, that's one of the reasons that my family hate my uncle (and aunt) sooooo much, but that's another story).
He and another member in the spanish fan club who was also at that show, said that when that lightning rig felt playing In the Army Now, Francis did a signal to the others and leave the stage (the gig was an open-air anyway), and the rain didn't stop for 30-40 minutes, then, the band came again, but NOT played In The Army from the point they stoped, they went straight to Rockin' All Over the World. Also, they didn't play Rock 'til You Drop or Burning Bridges, but played the full Roadhouse Medley (Why they did that?).
I've been told that a photo in the tour programme of Live Alive Quo tour is from that show.
It's funny, now I know two stories of heavy rain gigs in Spain with no cancelations or whatever, the two of them in Madrid, with members of the band talking of them years later. (The other one that I know is this. Keith Richards said in several interviews that god is going to make him pay for the thunder when he dies):

I must admit I've never heard this story before, is there a recording of this gig?
