Nice pic that Call me pedantic, but that Vertigo label on the Blue For You gold disc makes it look like he bought it on e-bay That caught my eye as well, does this mean that Blue For You sold gold (again) after it was re-released on the orange Vertigo label and the catalogue number changed from 9102 006 to PRICE55?

I thought of Rick as soon as I saw the date this morning. Lovely photo 4th Chord As we should remember him. Isn't it a reflection of the room that is making the BFY gold disc look different? As a photographer, I'm always aware of reflections.

The first Quo album to have that new design was Just Supposin' in 1980. My anorak is black by the way

Vernon Kay mentioned Rick yesterday on his Radio 2 show. He then played a clip of them with Steve Wright from 1989 playing Caroline on acoustic guitars. He was very complementary and played the clip again and said it was one of the best things he had heard. He did sound genuine and great to hear it.

He was also honored by HR1, although the selection of songs could've been a smidgen better, since both Quo tracks they played were written and sung by Francis. At least we got a track from Over and Out.
