Good grief, that takes me back! Mr Vance is sadly missed. I suppose that makes me like those who longed for the days of Caroline and Luxembourg. Well, if the cap fits.... Incidentally, do you remember the rock show that Jay Crawford had on Radio Forth? Very similar format. Can't remember what night it was on but it was good as well. I always thought Jay Crawford was a bit of a dick and was prone to a snide comment or two but he played some great stuff.

You've put me out of my misery I think the theme to it was an old George Melly track. He was also my one and only jazz concert. At the Dominion during the Festival as it happens. My girlfriend's mum was a fan so we all toddled along. Because she was paying presumably I was at that AC/DC gig in 1978. It was at the Odeon. And it was bedlam As lemmystoenail says, I'm a teenager again. Well, almost. I was 21
