On this day in history, 1980, Blizzard of Ozz was released. Are you a fan? I do like some Sabbath/Ozzy stuff but only as a 'casual'.

Never really went for Ozzy as a solo artist. In fact, even after Sabbath Vol 4, which was immense, I didn't really take much notice of Black Sabbath apart from the odd single. However, I did grab this on CD when it came out and I'm still rather fond of it. If fond's the right word for something this heavy Like you, I guess I'd call myself a casual fan. He did a half decent version of Pictures of Matchstickmen a few years back. Whatever happened to Linda Hamilton?

I like the odd track but I’m not a massive solo fan. Crazy train and no more tears spring to mind as gooduns
I don’t like his attitude to sabbath without him. He was always horrible about Dio, who did some great stuff. I prefer his best songs with Sabbath over the Ozzy solo stuff
He has used legal muscle to write the 3 Tony Martin Sabbath albums out of the bands history. You cant stream or download them , and hard copies are getting hard to track down. I’ve had to buy 2nd hand CD’s to replace my vinyl and lost ones. Really like those 3 albums
I did have tickets to see him a few years back but got cancelled due to ill health. Looks like I left it too late to see him

Were you trying to get her a part in Game of Thrones?

I am a fan of both Ozzy and Game of Thrones (well the books are even better). His first two solo albums were out of this world, Randy Roads a phenomenon.

Love OO's stuff up to Ultimate Sin [yeah, 4 studio albums. Woohoo] - After that? Nah, overkill with the pinch harmonics etc.

Getting to like Ozzy's solo music alot. Like Shot In The Dark, I Don't Know and others. Blizzard of Ozz is a great album. I just saw a article on Ozzy recently, he doesn't look that good, look's like his past is catching up with him.
