I think this must be in '84 rather than '85 as described in the Vid title?
"AFTER DARK: Donnie talking to Alan Lancaster of Status Quo (1985 - episode unknown part 1)"

I have another interview on the same show when Alan was on with the Party Boys, talked about the whole "management problem" and said their was no real ill feeling within the band, which is interesting. He felt the band at the time would be wound up so must be before court.
Also he said that before they settled on Swanee, Alan had spent some time trying to convince Roger Daltrey to be the lead singer for the Party Boys.

"AFTER DARK: Donnie talking to Alan Lancaster of Status Quo (1985 - episode unknown part 1)" I've worked this out to be, roughly, January 1985. There's another section of this with some comedian called 'Elliot Goblet' promoting a vinyl which he says has been out for *about* 3 months, and it was released in Nov. 1984. The issues within the bands management were Iain Jones and Alan Crux, allegedly Colin can't have been that bad, as the band have never spoke ill of him and Rossi still keeps in touch.
