I didn't realise Noel Edmonds featured on that track.

You put your left foot out, you put your left foot in. You do the Hokey Pokey and your twirl around. Yup that about sums it up Shameful garbage. I don't care if it was a hit. Its dumb and dumber with the Marx brothers.

Funnily enough, it's not a track I've ever disliked. The album was pretty disappointing and I thought this song was a bit of a highlight. I don't mind jolly now and again. Although I don't like to make a habit of it I see this is from December 1988. Assuming that's accurate, this must be one of the first times they played the song live because it wasn't in the set during the summer tour. Although they played a brief snippet as they sat on the drum riser during the encore. Must've been practising I didn't even know they did a winter tour that year. Mustn't have come north. Of Birmingham that is.

I always believed that the record company weren't keen on that song, but upon seeing the reaction to it live decided that it would make a good single. But that obviously isn't true as Francis introduces it here as the recent single.

Cannot stand the studio version. Never had an issue with it live. Always liked it in that scenario

I think the reaction was more so from when Quo jammed it, prior to Rain, which lead to them giving it the 'OK' for single release. Going as far back as July, it was obvious the 'current' Quo crowd liked the song Going off of other bootlegs from the tour, they didn't start jamming Bridges until June, again getting a great response from the crowd

It's a shame there isn't a recording of the Torbay concert, which would have given us the 1st live performance of it like we have the first live performance of Caroline from the Reading '73 show

Is there a reason why they always played the single version and not sing the first verse from the album?
