This shuffle is from Suzi Quatro's 1976 album Aggro-Phobia - and it's a good one.
p.s. Dan McCafferty also did a great version of the same song.

Guess we were at the same concert Mortified Edinburgh Empire back in 1973. I was with a young Stuart Adamson Yep 👍 Long time ago! I was in the Empire again a couple of years ago but it's now called the Festival Theatre. Completely different from the outside but exactly the same inside! Always thought there were small elements of Quo in some of Big Country's music Well Stuarts first band Tattoo (Before the Skids) played a whole lot of covers including Roll Over Lay Down, Spinning Wheel Blues as well as Rory Gallagher classics. I have a C60 cassette tape recorded at one of their gigs in Crossgates Institute (between Dunfermline & Cowdenbeath) where the set covered Quo, Bowie, Gallagher etc. So not surprised you can hear element's in Big Country's sound.

Didn't realise Suzi had covered it as well. I also didn't appreciate UFO had been on The Old Grey Whistle Test either. Must have missed that one. Always been a huge fan of UFO. Mad on them back in the 70's in fact. Although I notice that's Paul Chapman on lead so Mr Schenker had obviously gone by then.

Canned Heat at Woodstock, 1969. 'A Change is Gonna Come', with Bob Hite putting his full weight behind the vocals!

I'. The album is very hard to find. I had to convert it from YouTube a few years back. PS: The B-side is also crackin' 👍 Was sure I'd be able to listen on apple music. But no, it's not on streaming services, including the greatest hits / best of compilations

But it's never been released on CD as far as I know. And I've never seen it on download. The record label was EMI, so not exactly an obscure indie release. The YouTube conversion isn't the greatest quality but it does the job I suppose. Famous band, Marmalade. Strange how its never been re-released in 50 years
