Hi guys, hope you're all still rockin January! The snow is lovely here and very picturesque matchstikable!
I think people are misjudging of the great Francis Rossi. He is not the Uncle Nasty that sometimes can be the accusation after interviews and public appearances. I saw him on the Jools Holland TV show and he came across as a little bit misanthropic but Francis is not as confident as he appears on the stage. He is a quiet and shy man and can sometimes seem abrupt and defensive when he really is a gentleman.
I remember a story in one of the fabulous books. Francis said he might not get upset on the outside by something serious yet he will be all of a quiver when he hears a ballad by Shania Twain and that can set him off. So, guys let us not be too Francis mocking and give him the respect due unto him.
Another fabulous proof is when during a performance of The Oriental an oaf climbed up on the stage Francis GOMORR very quickly showed a professionalism and said 'get off the stage'. Ok, it seemed a very brupt reaction but it is necessary if a disruptive element tries to spoil it for everyone. I would give Francis immenseful credit here rather than call him Uncle Nasty.
See you out there somewhere soon...

A slack-jawed yokel right enough.
Haven't you got anything to say about your Uncle Si?

Right then, who called him Uncle Nasty? Come on, own up. This is some brilliant stuff by the Swisscheese person. I have never seen Rossi called that anywhere, so this poster uses reverse psychology to infer that he IS being called this, asking you not to while implanting the seed to call him that. Really well done.

Your uncle has to earn the respect that you say that I should show him....

One common theme with all these swiss cheese started threads - he never replies in any of them or makes further posts to respond to collective replies in general
Further reasons to take all of them with a truckload of salt and as added mb entertainment value
Still worth replying to some of the nonsense though

I think this one's a bit off balance: too much swissness ruins the post. Swisscheese, get it right next time!

And Swiss cheese is bland and tasteless compared to a good MATURE cheddar.

Still worth replying to some of the nonsense though I apologize Catlady but I have not realized that one can reply to posts started. Now I have and I think people have misunderstood my intentions. I defend the band whenever I think it is necessary. See you out there somewhere soon.

Like many of us on here I often enjoy some of your posts.
This is just a load of dribble rather the funny dribble.
Still at least it has deflected my attention from the Tory bashing on the chat section.
C -
Must try harder.
