I've just checked the 1865 website, and it says John Coglan's Quo "reimagined". So presumably this is his jazz take on Quo - not sure about this at all!

I've just noticed that about John over the years, even when he was playing with State of Quo or JC's Quo. I dare say it's not economically worth it but I'd like to have seen him more often and also doing this jazz thing. But Hampshire or Sussex to me is like a mission to Mars

Aw, I understand mortified. I wish for all those further away fans, that he could have travelled more. I do wonder what impact all those intense touring years with Quo might have done to him. Maybe that's why he doesn't want to do too much of it.

Maybe that's why he doesn't want to do too much of it. I have every sympathy for him. Travelling in the UK can be a nightmare, especially the further south you go. We're actually fed up with it and do it very rarely these days. Llandudno for Rhino in October is a real departure for us. But it's our old haunt, so we're making the effort. So John not travelling to anywhere near me is the same as me not travelling to him; too challenging and too expensive. And we're both getting on a bit

Didn’t gillie get over excited after the reunion and booked an Australian tour that had to be cancelled?
I’m really pleased for John though overall. He got to see how loved he is playing with JCQ
