Very curious, almost all the songs from Thristy work weren't recorded except Queenie. By the way, it looks like Germany was the last country that they played it, but it was played in Spain, and I think it happened in Switzerland and Austria too as those shows happened before and after the spanish shows. It was confirmed by attendees of Zaragoza and Madrid shows that it was played (and Roadhouse Medley WASN'T played in Madrid at least). Great stuff Luke!

Queenie was one of those that they chucked in the set to start with and then before most of us have had a chance to see them play it, it's gone. Overdose was another. So was Like A Good Girl. There are probably more, but these are just off the top of my head. Thirsty Work was not a great album, I think most of us would agree. But the tracks they chose to play live were unquestionably the best ones to pick. Apart from Restless, obviously. I'm not sure I've ever forgiven them for the shock they gave me with that one

Yeah, it was another tour were the Roadhouse Medley was forever in and out of the set - similar to the Rock 'til You Drop tour. Shame Queenie didn't stay in the set, but everyone had another years worth of Restless in the encore. I'm just glad that there's multiple recordings of it being played, as well as the footage. They audibly recorded one of the Birmingham dates on this tour, so we do have another pro-recording of Goin' Nowhere and Soft In The Head at least. Both great tracks, imo

He didn't see Quo, post lawsuit, until 7th July 1995 - Ullevi Football Stadium, Gothenburg. John was apparently present for the Gothenburg Scandinavium show during the Rock 'til You Drop tour.

It's funny that the two of them, saw the band at the same country, even in the same city around the same time, long away from home, but, none of them saw them in the UK or Australia. For John it would be easier at least. They audibly recorded one of the Birmingham dates on this tour, so we do have another pro-recording of Goin' Nowhere and Soft In The Head at least. Both great tracks, imo The band love the N.E.C. and Birmingham, don't they? I wish the N.E.C. had a system of video screens, and have a video version instead of audio. I listened Thirsty Work when I was working, today. Don't know why exactly, just was the first CD I had in hand, and then, half video from the tour appears in the wild of internet, what a Quoincidence! ( ) Even more, on saturday, in Madrid there was a concert by a spanish tribute band, and some of the attendees talked specifically about the '92 and '94 spanish shows before the concert started...Well, it looks like that this week I would be "thirsty" (?) And yes, on the tour they played the four better songs from the album...And Restless. Francis didn't get tired of the song in two years, and I hate it. But, I personally LOVE Ciao-Ciao. Since I was a little boy. Still do.
