Blondes Don’t Lie isn’t a world beater by any means but given the riff and the fact it’s more of an ilk fans would lean towards, i wonder why it didn’t make the Perfect Remedy album?
It could easily have replaced Tommy, Heart on Hold or Going Down for the First Time, for me.
Any thoughts?

Yep, it would make a good choice on a almost all Rossi sing songs. Poor Rick only sings on two songs on the album. Could be a much better choice than Tommy, or most songs on that album.

It doesn't sound finished, imo. sounds like a studio demo, with a drum machine, featuring Rick and Pip playing various instruments. Heart On Hold would have to stay, imho.

As Quoincidence rightly says, it does sound more of a demo. Although a half decent quality one. I personally think it should have been polished off and released somewhere, even if it was a B-side. Who knows why some songs were deemed less worthy of inclusion on an album? Two of the best things they've recorded in decades, Better Times and Heavy Daze never made it to any album until the deluxe editions pitched up. Were they on the Rockers Rollin' set? Might have been. Can't remember. Shifting Sands is another, although much much older. But loads of artists are the same. Unreleased tracks are turning up all over the place these days. And good ones. The last release of Exile On Main Street is testimony to that.

Truly awful imo
Sounds very generic parfitt 80s. Sounds like a bunch of teenagers trying to write a rock song

It is very Rick Parfitt 80's, but he wasn't alone in going down that road. Put it this way, compared to Alan's One Of A Kind and Francis's Modern Romance, its a masterpiece

You know what, I’d say modern romance is a far better song. Whether it’s a better song for Quo is debatable but overall I much prefer it

I don't mind it at all, for me more enjoyable than most of the album. Each to their own, modern romance makes me want to scream 😱 😂
My guess is that it wasn't finished because Francis said it was **** 😁

Whether it’s a better song for Quo is debatable How to sum up Quo in the 80's and 90's in less than 10 words.
